Some very reliable sources from within EA have stated that Microsoft and EA are preparing to sign a partnership deal which will allow the next generation Xbox users to enjoy exclusive content for their EA titles. A similar agreement was signed by Sony and EA in the past, which locked down exclusive content for Battlefield 3 for the PS3 users. Striking this deal might give Microsoft exclusive content for the upcoming Battlefield 4, and should this happen in conjunction with the continuation of the current deal with Activision, the Xbox platform would become a favorite console with the shooter market. Although right now this news is just speculation, it might explain why Electronic Arts failed to make an appeared during the Playstation 4 Reveal Event last week. Microsoft are set to make an official announcement soon, maybe during their April Xbox Event.
