The latest installment in the Batman Arkham series was the first title not to be developed by series creators, Rocksteady Studios. So what was this studio doing for the past year or so? Lately the team has been recruiting new talent for an upcoming project, which is set to be released next year and is rumored to be the direct sequel to Arkham City. To better validate these rumors, Kevin Controy (Batman's Voice) said he was working on an upcoming Arkham game last year, but was in fact not featured in Arkham Origins, and also Rocksteady teased Arkham World during the VGAs. Warner Bros. Interactive also registered the domain for Arkham Universe which might suggest that Warner are well on their way to applying an annual release model for the Arkham series, alternating between two different studios.
