As expected the Playstation Vita Slim has been officially announced for the US regions. The console will debut sometime this spring and will come in a limited edition bundle retailing for $200; comprising of the black console, a copy of Borderlands 2, six DLC packs, and an 8Gb memory Card.
As explained before the 3G was scrapped and the OLED was replaced with an LCD, making the console 15% lighter and 20% thinner. These changes has resulted in a extra hour of battery life.
