Unfortunately for all motorsport enthusiasts who were looking forward to immerse themselves in Slightly Mad Studios’ Project Cars this November, you will be unhappy to learn that the game has been officially delayed to March 2015.
Bandai Namco have been pretty honest about the rescheduling, stating;
The move positions the title away from the competitive holiday scene dominated by household names…
The extra time allotted also provides the developers more time to polish the already amazing title, hoping to give users the much deserved detail and realism.
The move does make sense, since November is set to be the launch month for titles such as, Forza Motorsport 2, The Crew, Far Cry 4, GTA V, Dragon Age Inquisition, and more.
Studio head Ian Bell stated;
Whilst a tough decision to make, the change in release date allows the game the greatest chance of success and visibility, and the opportunity to polish the game even further to the high standards that both ourselves and our community demand and expect. We’re eager for you all to see what we’ve been working on in just a few months.
