IKEA enters TV market

Swedish furniture manufacturer and distributor IKEA has officially entered into the Audio and Video market with a new and unique solution called UPPLEVA. These systems amalgamate the audio system, Bluray, DVD, and TV system in one sleek unit which eliminates cumbersome TV furniture units and excessive wires. The systems come in various styles, colors and sizes which will match anyones home needs. Some specs. of these system include;

  • Full HD 1080P LED Panels in 24″, 36″, 40″ or 46″ sizes
  • TVs for 36″ upwards will also have a smart OS system which allows internet and social media connectivity
  • USB reader that can read standard audio and video formats
  • 400Hz and picture in picture
  • Built in light sensor that adjust screen brightness according to room conditions
  • 400W 2.1 Sound System with built in Bluray and DVD player
  • Wireless subwoofer
  • DLNA ready
  • MediaHub system which allows video and audio playback over the air

These systems will be rolling out around the world early next year and prices will start off at around $950.
