Far Cry 4 Announced

E3 is in the air, and today Ubisoft announced Far Cry 4, which will be one of the titles which to be shown off on the conference’s show floor. Far Cry 4 will be set in the Himalayan region known as Kyrat, which is struggling under the hands of a tyrant who took the region under his command forcefully. The title will be in open world format, and the player will be able to hunt the wild life, make use of vehicles, and murder unsuspecting enemies.

Executive producer Dan Hay said;

“Following the success of Far Cry 3, we wanted to take the franchise to the next level and create a game that will surprise players and exceed fans’ expectations…”

“Given the unique setting, we feel Far Cry® 4 will stand out as a top first-person shooter and we’re eager to reveal more about the game in the coming months.”

Fans pre-ordering the title will be getting the limited version of the game at no extra cost, which comes inclusive of Hurk’s redemption; a single player expansion stretching over several missions which are playable with Far Cy 3’s Hurk.

Far Cry 4 is set to hit the shelves this November and will be available for the Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. We’ll get the first exclusive look this June at the Ubisoft E3 breifing.
