After being delayed for some time due to polishing of textures of the main game, the first DLC package for Dead Island is slated for a November 22nd release. Bloodbath Arena includes a new survival mode with four new arenas, which can be played in co-op or on single player mode. All XP and items you collect during this survival mode will still be added to your campaign inventory.The DLC also includes a cool new exclusive weapon called 'the brain wave bomb'. A weapon baring such a name intrigues us and must deserve some attention.
Bloodbath Arena DLC will be available on PC, Xbox Live, and PSN on November 22, and will cost you $10 or 800MS points respectively. As an added bonus, the DLC will be free for all users who pre-ordered Dead Island.
