Its been a week since the PSN has gone down after an external body attacked the servers of the Playstation 3. It seems that Sony has been rebuilding the PSN from scratch in order to get it back on its feet with an enhanced security for something like this not to repeat itself. Unfortunately for the users, other than not being able to play online for a long time, they now have to worry about their personal data being compromised. It has been brought to our attention that personal user data connected with PSN user accounts have been compromised by the attack, including credit card details. Sony have not given an official press release regarding the sittuation, nor its severity.
We do however encourage you to change your email passwords that are subscribed as PSN accounts
