Ex-People Can Fly Founding members announced their first title which will be developed by their newly founded studio, The Astronauts. These veterans formed part of the team behind blockbusting titles such as Painkiller, Bulletstorm, and Gears of War: Judgment, but left soon after Epic studios acquired the studio. The Astronauts Studio's first title is The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, and will be a proper Horror title meant to played at night with headphones on. The title has been rendered using the Unreal Engine 3, and the plot follows a detective with paranormal powers who's trying to find a kidnapped boy and ends up uncovering a series of brutal murders. The title s set to launch for the PC platform later this year.
