During this year's GDC conference EA and Maxis publicly announced the reinvention of the popular franchise SimcCity. The new title will be rendered in full 3D visuals with the help of a brand new engine created for this title 'The Glassbox engine'. As you can see in the trailer below the new engine captures the urban life we live in today, and thanks to the physics engine they managed to take this series to a whole new level. SimCity will be launching for both the PC and MAC in 2013.
