We have been waiting since February to know the last piece of information surrounding the next generation Playstation Console, which is the release date. Yesterday during the Gamescom conferences, Sony announced that over 1 million units were pre-ordered, and the consoles will be available on the 15th of November in the US, and the 29th of November in the EU.

The Japanese release of the console is yet to be announced, but with TGS just around the corner, an announcement is imminent. The countries in which the Playstation 4 will be available on the above launch date are as follows;

The Playstation 4 will be available in an additional 19 countries at launch when compared to the Xbox One. It was also announced that on launch, there will also be two additional color variations for the Dualshock controller as seen below;
